Red Flower

A red flower is a gift that can be sent to a loved one. The color red often symbolizes passionate emotions. The symbols associated with flowers have been somewhat lost over the years by the common man; however, artists and poets still use color imagery in their work.

A red flower doesn’t have to be purchased based on its symbolism. Many people like the color simply because they like it. When purchasing a floral arrangement, don’t base a decision off of a symbol, but rather the likes of the person receiving it.  

A rose is the most commonly purchased red flower. During holidays such as: Easter, Valentine’s Day, and Mother’s Day, roses are often the biggest selling item.  A rose is a symbol of love and because that is often the reason for purchasing a gift, that may be the reason they are one of the best selling flowers.
